Huge door sandwich, chunky chips and pint for £12

The eternal quest for an improper lunch continues during the work week, but today we are informed of news of a brand new offering from the team of Northern Quarter Bowser – Bay Horse Pub. So, naturally, we set out to check it out.

To say the best team are Bay Horse fans is a bit of a simplification. You’ll likely find a few of us there with multiple jars most nights of the week. We’re also somewhat smitten with their fantastic pub menu – which was recently given a welcome fir a couple of weeks ago.

The new lunch offer is available from Monday to Friday, from 12 pm to 4 pm and you can choose one of the sandwiches they serve with Three cooked chips Or mixed salad and a half liter £12 (or £10 with a soft drink).

Here are the sandwiches:

Lancashire cheese, curcuma cheese, walnuts, and crunchy apple with Branston pickles

Grilled beef sirloin with water sauce, beer pickles, onions and radish mayonnaise

Grilled beef slices with honey, beef tomato and piccalelli with whole mustard mayonnaise

Scrambled cod with beer, lemon and tartar sauce

Crispy Bacon, Frozen Lettuce, Beef Tomato, Crushed Frizzles With Bacon
